The verb "To carry" in the Holy Quran: A semantic study in light of context

Abstract:

The words in the Holy Quran have multiple meanings and connotations. You will find that the word comes in multiple places, with the same letters in terms of structure and formula, but the meaning and connotation differ from one place to another; The reason for this difference is the context in which this Quranic word appears. Therefore, this research deals with a word from the words of the Holy Quran, which is the verb (carry), shedding light on it, after tracing its resources to reveal its meanings in the contexts in which it appeared after identifying the lexical meaning of this word, as the resources in which this word appeared were counted, and it became clear that it was mentioned according to the meanings achieved from the contexts in which it appeared, which amounted to twelve meanings that came in forty-nine verses, and among those meanings are the real pregnancy, the metaphorical pregnancy, riding, work, lifting, and other meanings that will be explained in the paragraphs of the research.
