A study on vocabulary teaching in senior high schools with the aid of corpora

Abstract:

Corpus has been increasingly emphasized by the educational community for its three major advantages of being able to accurately count word frequencies, provide authentic and rich language materials, and create authentic and diverse language situations. With the continuous creation, development and updating of corpora and corpus retrieval tools, the research methodology and technological means of corpora will be continuously applied to the practice of high school English vocabulary teaching, and this paper analyzes the different applications of corpora to assist high school English vocabulary teaching and the teaching implications.
