Study of the adjustment problems and Academic achievement students girls’ students studying in U.P Board and C.B.S.E Board

Abstract:

The present research has been done on the study of adjustment problems and academic achievement of secondary school students. The aim of the present research is to compare the adjustment problems and academic achievement of students studying in U.P. Board and CBSE Board. To collect data for the fulfillment of the set objective of the research, class 10 students studying in secondary schools of U.P. Board and CBSE Board of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh have been included as the population of this study. And as a sample, 5 U.P. Board schools and 5 CBSE Board schools of Meerut district were selected by random method. 6-boys and 6-girls were selected from each school. In this way 120 students have been selected as a judicial sample. For the analysis of data, A.K. To measure the comparative study of adjustment problems and academic achievement of students studying in U.P. Board and CBSE Board. Adjustment problem scale prepared by Singh and A. Sen Gupta's High School Adjustment Inventory has been used. This scale has five dimensions - home, health, social, emotional and school. And to test academic achievement, marks obtained in the final examination of class 9th of the boys and girls studying in class 10th have been taken. And T test was calculated. On the basis of the results obtained from the data, it has been found that there is a significant difference in the adjustment problems and academic achievement of girls studying in U.P. Board and CBSE Board. And a significant difference was found in the adjustment problems and academic achievement of boys studying in U.P. Board and CBSE Board.
