Bureaucracy as an Integral Part of the Country’s Government

Abstract:

According to this study, the public's opinion of bureaucracy and how well it functions in governance was the primary worry, in this instance for the Jammu and Kashmir area. The study used quantitative research methodologies and disseminated a structured questionnaire. thorough investigation included an examination of knowledge of bureaucratic operations, accountability, responsiveness, and policy execution. The results indicate that citizens have varying opinions on administrative efficiency and transparency, but a decent degree of knowledge of bureaucracy. In the recently created union territory, bureaucracy was seen by many as essential to successful government; nonetheless, the degree of corruption, political meddling, and the incorporation of technological advancements into the bureaucracy were issues. The public's top choices for enhancing the delivery of public services were recommendations for digital governance and ethical training. The frequency of encounters with bureaucracy and the perception of inefficiency were shown to be weakly and insignificantly correlated. Numerous topics covered in the study also emphasize institutional changes that might enhance an organization's effectiveness. The research outlined many ways that bureaucracy might deepen our understanding of the value of openness and how it contributes to the contentment of a country's or region's citizens.
