Abstract:

The NEP 2020 emphasizes the significance of multidisciplinary education in the twenty-first century. It emphasizes the integration of various academic disciplines, such as math, science, vocational, professional, and soft skills education. The policy aims to provide a balanced education that helps students grow as whole human beings. Through interdisciplinary learning, students learn to think critically and identify connections between disciplines that at first glance appear to have nothing in common. This approach allows students to study at their own pace, attend extra classes, and take classes from other disciplines, promoting greater freedom and flexibility.
