This research investigates the relationship between teacher personality traits and classroom management effectiveness in District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) institutions, with specific focus on Darbhanga DIET in Bihar, India. The study employs a quantitative approach to examine how the Big Five personality traits (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism) influence classroom management practices among teacher educators. Data was collected from 15 teacher educators through standardized personality assessments and classroom management effectiveness scales. The findings reveal significant correlations between specific personality traits and classroom management success, providing valuable insights for professional development and recruitment strategies in teacher education institutions.
