Abstract:

In many areas of the nation, groundwater is turning into a major issue. The waterlogged region of Haryana State was evaluated in this study. ARC GIS software has been used to create a number of thematic layers, including base map, DEM, NDWI, groundwater depth, and waterlogged area. According to the NDVI, 25% of the land is classified as non-vegetation, and 70% of the land is classified as vegetation or agricultural land. Concluded that the best methods for accurately and quickly analyzing the groundwater issue are remote sensing and GIS techniques. Additionally, administrators and politicians will find the outcomes produced by employing these strategies to be highly beneficial.
